Bad fuel pump/filter?

Bad fuel pump/filter? From a stop and go the car sputters around low rpms. The sputtering stops around 3500-4000. Would it be the fuel pump going bad, bad gas, or a bad filter?
Need alittle more info, when did it start doing this, for example after a service or a tune maybe?? First thing that comes to mind is a loose or bad spark plug wire or cracked spark plug.

ive had a tune for about 4 months now and it just started doing it yesterday while i was driving on the highway and i was getting off the highway came to a stop and been doing it ever since
Burnt Wires & Bad Plugs are generally a low RPM issue, or at least its really noticeable from idle to crusing speeds.
Bad Filter would make the car feel restricted or down on power. If you scanned it, the PCM would be correcting or asking for more fuel to compensate.
Bad Gas if you have not had your high/low octane tables matched for tuning purpouse, then it should not be as noticable as a stumble, I would have you see: Bad Filter. As timing would be dialed down.
Bad Pump until you get a FP guage on there and drive it while putting a load on the motor, you wont know if its a pump. On old LT1 cars pumps and opti sparks showed similar manners.
