When the car is heavy it's hard to go fast.
I'm going the Noyzee way with the red car someday. Make it light,cheap motor but I'll be going Turbo instead of spray.

don, funny you say that, i almost grabed a turbo set up. i know i could make 700 hp on a stocker now, i made 600 for years way back. i love turbos. still might do it.
bkd, the nitos suck get some mt and see what she will do. i had 3 cars running low 11's on stock rears i set up with no issues. one is still stock rear and should be 11.2- 11.3 this year cam only street car with full options, leather and all. lol

I prefer any day to have a nice well rounded H/C package that gives good drivability, still gets good mpg, has nice power under the curve, doesn't stress the valvetrain to extreme levels, and still puts you in cage territory at full weight.
You can go pretty far with a cam swap and weight reduction but you may end up sacrificing in other areas.

any time. dont hold me to it tho. lol. i wonder if they will still let me slip by..last year i ran several 11.4x's in a row and never got warned. i thought for sure i would have gotten yelled at.
Are you kiddin me.. I wasnt even runnin near mid 11s yet and they were already warning me at tech inspection that I was gone if I broke 11.50s and they seemed sure I was gonna do it.

Went to NED tonight first time with new H/C. ran a new pb 11.6 at 117 1.7 60ft track went to **** in a hurry. Very pleased with the run looking forward to dropping a few more tenths in the coming months. Thank again Don!
