I know don I was just busting your chops. I don't like the sound of my own voice i feel bad for anyone that has a recording of it lol. I'll call tomorrow and leave a message.

Hey 02gangsta you think the stock bottom end will handle a 4 inch pulley. If I'm right that should be around 10 pounds of boost. The reason I ask is you got me thinking I have a 4.13 pulley and belt I could switch to.

I've heard nothing but great things about don. Not just from this board but other boards and some research. If he feels confident about it then I wouldn't be to concerned.

I have another thing you may want to add to your list. I think I noticed that you have the black plastic air box. You want to change that soon. I bought that one also and it kept falling off the hose. There are also stories of them blowing up when driving. Just saying you have already spent so much, whats another $300?

Like snowking said it's all in the tune. You'll find cars running less boost or even less mod's then you that will blow up. The tune is where everything should start and end.....some many problems can be detected and resolved before it costs you a new short block.

Not directing this at you but there are so many people who rather buy a ton of mods and skimp on the tune only to save 100.00 on a 3,000.00 expense. Without a good tune I'd cringe every time I floored the car; if I even would.

Tuning is key BUT the install and correct parts are important too.

I never order a D1 with a bigger pulley than 4.0". I like the more boost= more midrange power and then detune the topend for safety.

Just as long as the car has enough fuel system we are good.IE- intank hotwired pump and inline pump or intank 255 pump with voltage booster.

No not sarcastic at all. Just decided it was worth the education in the long run back when I was in school and it proved to be so. I don't make any more than the average guy, but it opened up a world of possibilities in the corporate realm. It's just the whole work smarter not harder idea that has paid off. I busted my back for long time and once I finished up school I got into the software industry. Still hard work but in a different way. I honestly think without an education I wouldn't be where I'm at today. It just boils down to getting that piece of paper to open up more possibilities. And for those guys who didn't do it thats fine too and you can still do great for yourself. I'm just speaking for me.
