Paint time.

Its gonna be paint time soon and Im looking for a good place to get my car sprayed. Going to be doing all of the prep work myself. Im just looking for a simple yet quality gloss black job. Suggestions? (DE-PA-MD-NJ area)

Simple and black don't go together. Black is a tough color to make right make sure you get a quality place!

You better spend the time and have the car jams and engine bay done as well. Also look for a good "Body shop safe wax" they are not hard to find but good investment to keep the car lookin good.

If u want it to look like glass take it either to gott auto body in annapolis md or sudden impact in passidena md but I would have everything done there

Any idea of a ballpark figure on those shops?? Im looking to keep it reasonable, hence me doing the body work.

A GOOD paint job can be very expensive. Shops have all different prices too. I have gotten quotes from 1800 on up and a lot around 3k. Doing the prep work yourself will save you some money but a GOOD body shop will still spend time going over the car.

I know of an awesome body shop but the customer service (getting the guy on the phone) and turnaround is rough. Price is also pretty high. I have a second car that I need painted and I'm not sure if I'm going to him because of the turnaround but in the end, the results speak for themselves. If you are willing to go that route shoot me a PM.

There is some paint correction left but everyone I have showed the car to (paint guys) agree that he did a great job. The paint corrections are obvious spots where the guy rushed but he will fix the problems. The shop offers a lifetime warranty on the paint job as well.

I have heard of other good shops around NJ and NY but I'm hesitant to recommand. I've seen their work and it looks good but I haven't gone through every inch of the chassis for paint problems. I could get you those names as well though.
