Just trying to get AJ going. LOL, thanks for the ride MikeP, it was a lot of fun and a little scary. Fastest car I have ever ridden in. A 4wheeled vehicle that pulls like a 1 liter crouch rocket is pretty amazing.

Oh shat, now you did it UB!!! I rate this comment right up there with this kid's comment on Facebook. Both comments might hold a little more water if you didn't show up for the Stang Bang in the 240 and he didn't have a pic of his focking FIESTA as his profile pic.

I didn't realize that people without AARP cards actually went to the "actual show" up at the inlet.

Sadly, I couldn't get off work to go.

However, I performed my own form of Stang Banging a while back....

Let's see who can figure out the deception!

Wed night:

Roll race with Zturd, the automatic didnt fair well on the initial pull and maintained the distance after he pulled about 3/4 of a car on me

2nd race I banged an OCPD car off the light, he didnt think much of that and banged me with a ticket.

Thurday/Friday

Fox body stang, easy pull, didnt want to look at me afterwards

Friend was driving my car, Chevelle was being a throttle jockey, we caught a light with him, chevelle stalled it up on the converter, let him out about 2 cars and rolled into the throttle and walked him. He stayed back 10 cars and wouldnt catch back up no matter how slow we went.

Supercharged 2002 mustang, another easy target, rolled by spinning

EVO, another easy one

Best race: Grand National, full cage, gauges, loud turbo. Initially we played a little down on the lower streets, was a slight mist/fog that had rolled in and neither of us could get traction. 15 Streets later, he is about my rear 1/4 panel, I hear the turbo spool, I hit it and we held fender to fender till traffic. Wouldnt give me an ET, but was bored, stroked and big turbo was all I could get for info.

Banged an old school Camaro 1st run from a slow roll.
Then got a 2nd gen Camaro from a dig. He got a slight hole shot but when I hooked in 2nd it was over.
Mark3 Supra, which actually looked pretty nice was next on the list. Said it still has the 7mgte and was running 12psi, likely a stock turbo. Wasn't really very close.
Wasn't really lookin to waste gas on this but a Charger R/T just had to see for himself. Not even remotely close as would be expected aside from him. Then my son in law said one more, so we came up to diesel at a red light and of course he starts power braking. Didn't want to push my luck but said what the hell. Spun pretty bad but hung within about 1/2 a big azz truck with him, caught 2nd went a bit side ways but when she got traction we pulled away hard and the 3+ ton beast let off.
Oops there was another one in there, don't know how I could forget. Did a 2nd gear roller with a red LS1 Z28, spanked it real bad, had to be pretty close to stock. Didn't have the rectangular tips but was still pretty quiet. When I filled the tank for the first time since leaving Lancaster, it took a whopping 10 gallons. Not bad after going 260+ miles and all the performance comparisons that were made.

See previous post. Still had an awful lot of fun with the old girl and I bet I spent about half as much in gas as you did! LOL!

Yes, I'm thinking you spent even less than half of what I did if it only took 10 gallons.

Overall, it was a good weekend. Got a couple good runs in and was glad to beat the living **** out of the car without a problem. She took it like a champ. Need to relearn the driver mod now...going from a 400whp car to what I have now is like night and day. I may need to take a few on the chin at the Mexican Mile this year before I get things figured out.

I only had a few races.

Caught up to that dark grey Lambo (happens to be a underground twin turbo car) and we hit it from like a 35 roll twice. I walked away like he hit the brakes. He then came up next to me and was like "OMGWTF" and said his **** went 10.1 @ 161 and has never been walked like that, pretty cool. It was in front of seacrets too.

i also raced some GTR with a parachute from a stop and pulled a car up to like 50mph.

all in all a good time....on pump gas
