A local car enthusiast back home was at the GOOD GUYS car show in Columbus and had his '68 Chevelle stolen. Please keep your eyes on on the web and the roads.

No thank god its not my car, I don't know what I would do if my car got stolen. I have had a car stolen before and I know how helpless it made me feel. It just really sucks that there are low life people that go to these car shows just to steal what someone else has worked so hard to build.

It does suck. The fact is, if someone really wants your car, they are going to get it. All you need is an enclosed trailer with a winch inside and you can drag the car into the trailor, and then you're off and no-one knows what's inside. I thought about that kind of crap a lot when I went on the 2006 Power Tour.
Chances are, it was a proffesional job, and they had the car loaded and gone in less then 2-3 minutes and they never ever started the car.
One thing I did was turn my wheels full lock, then removed the shifter after putting it in gear. I also went into the program and flashed in a program that kept it from starting. But again, if they really wanted it, they could have found a way to get it.
