Holy hell another CT emissions thread! Im due in a month. I just bought some ARH LTS with their catted Y which im going to gut. My question is if they do a visual will I pass even though they are not stock cats?
I will be pissed if they do a visual and it dosent pass. I just took off my pacesetters+tsp ory to change to these stainless headers that have cats (or the shells) haha.

Technically at least in CT, moving the CAT from anywhere BUT the stock location is "illegal" and you would normally fail. BUT I will say in all the years of running 4th gens is I have never had anyone break my ***** about it.
Some shops vary in that practice. Some are by the book others just wait to see IF you fail and IF you fail, then they search for why.
The place I go to I do not even think they have a mirror and I have never seen the emission guy get on the ground and look.
