Reputable t56 builder I've been doing some reading, I know most prefer the big guys when it comes to doing their t56(tick,rpm,tdp) I like tdp's pricing but what screws me is shipping $122each way. I'm wondering if any of you guys know of someone more local with tdp type pricing or better. I'm on a tight budget but i hate seeing the car down and i figure if ive got to pull the trans it might as well get an upgrade. Cars still stock, most its gonna see is bolt ons and a 100-150shot. pm me please.
2002 ta. 127,000miles There were no pops,grinds, or cruntches. I was driving down 295south to delaware, downshifted to pay toll, pulled out of the toll normal nothing hard, upshifted 1,2,3,4 than when it came time to downshift again for my exit the trans wouldnt come out of 4th. I'm hoping its just a shift fork or key but i have no experience and only know what ive been reading on here.

Tick has free shipping both ways now. If you want to stay local: MCP Competition Engines (Mike) can rebuild it and is down the NJ Turnpike exit 7A. You could also drive it up to Rockland Standard Gear, 150 New York 17, Sloatsburg, NY 10974

thanks for the shops, ill have to look into them. and the reason i wasnt thinking about tick building it is because theyr stage 2 rebuild is somewhere like $1300 compared to tdp $685+shipping roughly $244round trip=$1000. thats why id like to find someone within a state away that i could just drop my trans off and pick it back up at later and save on shipping cost.
