new ls7 clutch problem

Default new ls7 clutch problem

I installed a new ls7 clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and slave in my 99 ws6 and after installed couldnt get the car into gear....so then bled the clutch and the car drove perfect no problems shifting into any gear....then this morning i come out side start the car and now again i cant shift into any gears at all...just need to be bled again or can i be looking at some other problem? any input would be great

You see this problem come up with this.swap. the shop that installed mine had to lengthen the pedal rod. Some people fix it with shims.

If ur running a stock clutch master that could be 90% of the issue. Either shimming it out or push more fluid is what should fix it. I always gravity bleed my clutches. Get a hard pump quickly. Pm if u have questions.

You can unhook the master cylinders line from the slave and try pushing the pedal slighty to test the master. If the pedal is hard then the master should be holding pressure and not leaking down. I had this same issue and this helped me toward my solution as to why i couldn't get my ls7 to release when i had one. I disconnected the line and the pedal would go down, bad sign. Got a new master (tick), did a thorough bleed and i was good to go.

Would be something to look into if you haven't already.
