You could find a ws6 for that, camaro would be easier though ws6's with low miles and a good price are hard to find, around me atleast.

I also think I might be better with a 04 GTO for 10K
They r out there and r built like a tank, but they are 4,000lbs

I guess I would take a regular formee too but if I went camaro it would have to an SS

bought my SS with 60k for $8800, 6 speed, with the basic mods already, and that was even 3 years ago, granite I have dumped thousands in it since then, but they are definately out there, should easily be able to find one with longtubes and such already.

Got this for 10k on the nose back in April of last year, 67k miles, has 72k now and it's my daily driver, no problems. Found it on Autotrader in SC, with similar mileage it seems like they are quite a bit more expensive in our area though. I've cleaned it up a lot since I got it and I've added a couple of mods to it here and there. It's been great even though it doesn't have too much done to it

Well here are a couple of things people forget.

1- Pontiac on average go for more money then a Chevrolet when it comes to f-bodies.

2- everyone has a different definition of what is "Decent" and "good" when it comes to what is acceptable.

3- you will find better deals for 98-2000 vs 2001 and 2002

In the end it really depends on what is out there and how bad the seller wants to let it go. The only thing that helps is your looking for a a4 car. A premium color ws6 m6 2001+ will generally command decent money.

I agree. Trans Am's generally seem like they are always a little more expensive than Camaro's. Whether it be a T/A to a Z28 or a T/A WS6 to an SS, the Pontiac seems to usually go for more money. I won't even bother mentioning the Firehawk's, those seem to bring in quite a bit of cash.

However, I have to say, it does seem like the Camaro SS's aren't that plentiful at 10-11k or under without a ton of miles. I haven't seen one unmolested SS that was priced like mines with around the same mileage in a good while.

Didnt the ta cost more than a z? They also dont make pontiac anymore so that also could be a factor. Ws6 and ss both look great.

I got the Camaro with 68k on it in 2006 for $6800. I also spent a lot of time looking and waiting too.
