Since everyone else has real good advice. I was going to say get a Chevy Volt, but then I remembered that the ATS was the new deal in town.

I'd have to go with something older (no emissions to worry about) and different - do a big cube LS transplant with a turbo setup and a 4L80E trans... Maybe a big ole Impy so I could haul the family on Power Tour one day... Racecars drain you forever and any shmo can walk into a Chevy dealer and buy a vette...

someone had it right^^^

get a brand new harley, do intake, exhuast and dyno...then buy something fun to drive on the side. something you can drive every day and enjoy and not worry about it

bought a 2012 road glide custom this year...nothing like it. cars cant compare....and it gets 48mpg and cheap to insure

on top of that i did trickflows on the car and made it a whole new animal....still pick the harley every cruise!!

I'd probably buy an 02 Trans Am then maybe sell my Formula and work exclusively on the TA

LOL - I didn't say everyone who walked into the dealer and bought a vette was a shmo - I said because any shmo can do it, I don't want to... and you have to admit that your Chevelle has way more personality than the vette

With $50k to spend, I'd definitely shoot for a used C6Z. They can be had in the low $40's and you'll still have $5-$10k to put under the hood.

For me...

C6Z is a good one

G8 GXP Firehawk or GT Firehawk

Calloway C6 vette can be found for around that price used!

Lingenfelter C5 Z's

Wait a little and get a C6 convertable with the LS7 motor. Forget what its called but they just came out earlier this year.
