My man Don built my vette to run fast under almost any conditions. Dont forget the suspension guys you still got to hook.
Last nite a typical Wed nite at NED. Track crappy but air good. Vette ran
a 10.7 at 125 with a 1.5 60. Felt real strong and as you can see really hooked. The second run the car just overpowered the track and I'm not stupid so I let off and still ran a 11.5. I love it.

hey tx. guys.
Ported LS3 heads and a very big cam. LOL.
Seriously Don has the specs on it.
Think it was a 232/239 111.
Good luck with your new motor.

We have the easy part,
I want a N/A car that makes 500+rwhp, runs a 10.5+ in street trim, drives like stock, lots of torque under the curve and still pulls like a freight train up top and still get's good mpg. Oh and I'm gonna track it 100 times a year and put 20k miles on it and I want nothing to go wrong, plus I'm a cheap bastard.
Then Don gets the hard part

That's far from a big cam on a 418. But it's about the right cam for your needs, and obviously it works well. I bet it sounds good.

I'm looking at doing a build similar to Brents.
416 LS3 heads and cam. Might do TFS 245 heads over the LS3/L92 heads though. Small cam, 10:1 compression, and be able to run a blower later down the road.
I'm just selling off my LS1 parts that I don't need. Hopefully i'll have all the funds ready by spring/summer.

wow lots to respond to. yes i am selling it but probably next spring. In the meantime I,ll get to the track because it is my passion. If anyone is interested after Nov 1st. PM me and we'll talk.
No i was serious about the cam, thats why i said ask Don about specs. I shouldnt have guessed.
All I know is I asked Don for 550Hp, power under the curve where it counts,
all motor, a mid 10 second car and he delivered.
Hey and a little bit of driver mod... ME.
