Thinking of trading in the SS for an 06 vette

Anyone who made the change from a f-body to a vette regret it later?

I doubt you'll regret it, any plans for mods? or keeping it stock for a while
Even stock I think the vette will feel "quicker" especially in the bends.

let us know what they offer you as for trade....better to sell to a person who will appreciate the car vs a dealer....

its a 6 speed. Vette feels slow compared to the SS. Going to see what they want to give me for trade in KKB says $6,700 to $7,700 trade value. I have cash to put down. Dont need to get rid of the SS, but I could get a supercharger on the vette for the $ i get for the trade in.

Tough call for me.

I love the unrefined way the 4th gens are. I'd miss my car for sure, lot of sentimental value too.

But a vette would certainly help

Why not spring or wait for an 08+ Lots of revision in the 08 incuding the LS3.

I'm a big fan of the GS's, its the only vette I think I could do it with no regrets, and something that $ wise its atleast attainable in the future used market. I'd want a targa top and M6.

I still have to see the 14's in person, those could be sick. But the GS has already got me sold.

I'd keep both if I could.
