Speaker install Would anyone that has done aftermarket speakers in our cars within like 25 miles of Westminster, MD feel like helping installing my Kee Audio CDT speakers? I don't do electrical lol and I don't know the proper method of taking the door panels off without breaking anything
honestly mike, its not too difficult. I am an electrical retard and Ive swapped speakers numerous times. just take your time getting the door panel off. look on youtube for ls1 window motor swap and theres a step by step guide pretty much on how to get it off.

Nice thanks lol. Wish I would have known such a video existed...my car is at the shop to get the window motors done right now...first and last time I'll have someone else do it lol, he has the cheapest labor rate around but he goes by computer estimated times, which it says 2 hours per side for window motor replacement. And the local parts stores have the motors for $80 each...I'm hoping that has the regulator with it for that price.
window motors are a bitch, but from experience bringing my firebird to other people for window motors and speakers. NEVER AGAIN. Its a pain, but just take your time and follow the how-to guides. With just basic tools and a weekend you could have killed window motors and speakers. when it comes to stuff like this, if you want it done right you reallly need to do it yourself. The kee audio is plug and play, disconnect old reconnect new.

i Scratched my tint all up when replacing mine.. didnt see the little window guide end was broke off and went down -.-. All in all though hardest part was getting the glass itself to stop moving while installing it.
