Took my C5Z to NED
Took my C5Z to NED I took my Bolt on Z06 to the drag strip recently. I have Nitto NT05 high performance street tires on the car. I left the line at 2200rpm for my best pass. Anymore and it seemed to break loose pretty bad. (need drag radials)
I probably could have got into the high 11's with more practice but only made 3 passes total. With a drag radial this car will go mid 11's pretty easy I think. I'm sure i'll pickup a few mph in the trap speed as well since my car would bog on the 2200rpm launch.

Car is a beast, great times! Gotta be one of the fastest stock c5z's I've seen.

I just smoked off what was left of my nitto's 555r, I've had good luck with them but lots of M6 guys have a hard time, I put some Toyo Proxes TQ's on it now, see if its even better, but from what a hear that might be a tire to look at without swapping rims at the track.

definitely has 11s in it. My 01 z went 11.85@115 and 12.0@117 with the ziptie mod cheap headers and a stock h-pipe moded to work with the headers. I had hoosiers dr's and gto spares for skinnies.

I'm running the nitto NT05 high performance street tire on the rear right now. It's great for street use but was lousy at the track. I think i'm going to pick up a second set of wheels and put mickey thompson et streets on them. I only live 30 mins from the track so I could swap wheels at home and then drive down on them. 
wow those are good times! Especially for a 01Z with 20hp less
When I had my stoock good years on it was the same way. The car would just blow the tires off 1st, 2nd, and into 3rd. Tires were horrible!
