Need help near Suffolk!!
Howdy,
Here is my problem, it's drama, it's not fun, but I need some help.
Thomas Queen of Feather Carbon ( Feathercarbon.com ) / has my money, and I don't have my parts, it's delightful. I ordered carbon hood, trunk, front fenders, rear quarters, doors, etc and was promised to have the parts in September. The order was placed in July 2013. Now we're in February. I kept getting excuses and photos of "finished items ready to ship" that never shipped, and I was extremely patient. My credit card only offers help up to 180 days, and small claims court will drag out, and lead back to here which is Feather Carbon / Thomas Queen owe me my parts.
I would have asked for a refund, but Google paints a good picture that the checks are "Lost in the mail" and I'd rather just have my parts that are done, that he has sent photos of.
Here is a good thread that summarizes most of the problems, without a bunch of jargon:

Over 100 pages of people claiming this guy stole from them.
Any other colorful threads you guys can find?
Because here is where it really gets good...
Thomas tried to give me some more excuses and hucklebuck two weeks ago, but propositioned that I buy his molds.....he was 'overwhelmed' and a 'one man operation' and just 'needed management'
Here are the problems with that.
He's not a one man operation.
Here is a person named David
Here is Russell
Here is their Facebook, most of their customers can't post there, so you're welcome to share a link to this thread.
If anyone is near Suffolk, VA and wants to stop by, I would really like to know wtf is going on.
I was sent these pictures and told my stuff would ship almost a month ago, then I told him I'd arrange shipping and no contact.
Someone even went by his shop when he said he was ''up there''
They wandered in his shop, not a soul was there except a dog.
Stray far away from this guy, and it looks like they're thinking of changing the company name to run away from this.

Since the other thread was closed, thanks to several freinds and new people I met on the internet I finally got some of my stuff.
I'd be vary wary ordering from them again and sending money if you're out of state or not local. The stuff is nice, it's thin but it's nice for the price but the hassle is just not worth it.
He did want to finish the order so I gave him the option of if it gets made, and a 3rd party can verify that it is done I will pay the third party to pay him when the parts ship so the risk is on his end.
