vin when selling a car I have a 1999 red Camaro ss 6 speed for sale . I was wondering if someone ask,s for the vin # should I give them the vin before they come look at the car. one buyer was asking for the vin so he could add it to his car insurance so he can test drive the car. it is currently not registered or insured.
some people want the vin number to check the car fax on the car... also insurance companies do want the vin number, or if hes taking a loan out to buy it one would need the vin number.. don't think u have anthing to worry about giving him the vin number...
