Engine swap

I have an 04 gto 6 speed. I got it as a theft recovery. I want to put the 5.3 is it an easy swap?

Depends on what year it is. Gen IIIs will have an easier time than Gen IVs due to several differences between the generations.

I'll make it easy for you,1st-why you dropping down to a 5.3? Just stick with an ls1 or step up to an 6.0.All parts can be swapped over and 2nd-there is NO issues ,it's just a needed tune. That's it.Where is your location,maybe if local I can assist you.Lmk tom
