computer / tuning help !! I am looking for some one in the Westminster / Baltimore area that can remove the vats feature in my computer, at least the thinking is that its the vats, the car will start and run for a couple of seconds and shuts off. It does not sputter like it is starving for fuel, just shuts off like you turned the key. I get no codes from a scanner but it may not have run long enough to get any. It is a 98 Camaro SS computer and harness and they were both reworked buy a company in TX. and I would think they know enough to remove the vats signal but I have no way to verify that it was done or not.
I hope it can be done with just the computer as obviously the car won't run so getting it somewhere would take some work, if it needs to be done on the car it would be great if some one could come to the car, it is in Westminster. I am trying hard to get it done for Ocean City to make it to the LS1 meet. Still needs some exhaust work once it moves but we are trying....the car is a Porsche 944.
