We're going Friday, registered to run the UMI shootout AX again this year. Won it last year.
This years show has a lot of hype from Chevrolet. Looks like they're going to put quite an effort in to it from what I've read online. Hopefully its better then all the GM shows in recent years.
Too bad the Camaro Nationals are the same weekend right down the road.

All my friends backed out so i am driving down thursday by myself to the hotel and ill be on the show field around 8am.

Last year both shows were on different weekends. Why they continue to wrestle / hate is beyond me.

Wish both parties would quit acting like children and get back together again - or separate the weekends.

Its for the common good of the hobby.

Agreed..I read somewhere that Carlisle had originally had a different tentative date but due to getting all the ducks in a row it ended up being the same weekend again.
I don't know about the 4th gen community, but I know there's plenty of 2nd gen people who used to setup shop at Carlisle but now go to Frederick.
Personally, I'd rather go to Carlisle. Its a lot bigger space with other things going on throughout the weekend.

Even though it's further from me, and I'll literally pass right by the Frederick fairgrounds on the way up, my brother and I will be up Saturday. Like going to Carlisle much more for the space and atmosphere.
