what head is better when work,,,the cathedral port??
or the rectangle port head.... or are they both the same???,,,

lets try this... ls6 350cu...factory 241 heads.. hand done portit..and 202 160,

Well the Ls6-1 isn't a "tree fitty" but close enough. But in this case a good set of ported factory cathedral heads 243/799's being the go to for most people will be your best bet. If you got a good porter local where you can save a little $$ I'd do that. But right now I think Texas Speed' porting service is still at Black Friday prices so it might be worth looking at to compare prices. If you wanted to go rectangle port you would need the small bore version. I know gm has a small bore version for fairly cheap but going that route you'll need a different intake also adding to the cost.

but wichhead,,,desinge is better??? cathedral port or rectangle??

On under 400" motors I'd say good cathedral. After that you can start taking advantage of the higher flowing rectangles or square port.
