Celebrate 100 Years of GM History in 2025 – Carlisle Events
Celebrate 100 Years of GM History in 2025 – Don’t Miss the Carlisle GM Nationals, June 20–21 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds!
One of the most diverse all-GM-focused car shows on the East Coast is rapidly approaching, and you can be part of the fun June 20–21 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. The Carlisle GM Nationals is poised to once again take the car show world by storm with great guests, cool cars, special displays, and more. Save the dates now, add them to your calendar, and make your plans to cruise to Carlisle during the first days of summer.
The GM Nationals continue to gain momentum each year, with growing numbers of enthusiasts, vendors, and show car owners all converging on Central PA. The excitement stems from an unmatched variety of displays, activities, and unique “shows within the show” that make Carlisle a must-visit destination for GM fans.
Taking center stage in 2025 is a celebration of 70 Years of Tri-Fives, honoring Chevrolet’s legendary lineup from 1955 to 1957. These iconic models — the Bel Air, Nomad, One-Fifty, and Two-Ten — will be joined by rarer sub-models like the Delray coupe and the Handyman, Townsman, and Beauville wagons. Known for their timeless 1950s style, these cars evoke a golden era of automotive design, and Carlisle will honor that legacy with multiple themed displays, a Tri-Five parade on the grounds, seminars, and vendor support. With a goal of showcasing at least 55 Tri-Fives, this promises to be one of the largest gatherings of these classics on the East Coast — a true can’t-miss moment for owners and enthusiasts alike.
The celebration doesn’t stop there. The 2025 event also spotlights 55 Years of the Monte Carlo, tracing the car’s history from its initial production run between 1970–1988 and again from 1995–2007. This showcase will explore the Monte Carlo’s legacy in stock car racing, its aerodynamic innovations, and the impact it left on the industry, with support from dedicated car clubs and enthusiasts bringing outstanding examples of the model to Carlisle.
Another can’t-miss milestone celebration is the 40th Anniversary of the IROC-Z. Carlisle will feature two unique displays to honor this iconic pony car — one in Building T, focused on stock, rare, and historically significant models, and another under a Showfield tent as part of the Third-Generation Camaro and Firebird Nationals, which will highlight modified and custom IROC-Zs. Show goers can also expect engaging seminars, guest speakers, and opportunities to learn about the car’s lasting influence on performance and style.
In addition to these spotlight features, the 2025 Carlisle GM Nationals will once again showcase some of its most popular gatherings. The Third-Gen Nationals display is back, as are Novas at Carlisle, presented by the National Nostalgic Nova club, plus Corvettes for Chip, which combines a love of Corvettes with fundraising efforts for the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation. These passionate gatherings, along with both judged and non-judged Showfield participants, ensure a full weekend of cars, camaraderie, and culture for fans of all things GM.
A signature staple of the event, the Solid Lifter Showroom, returns to Building Y, curated by the expert team at Super Car Workshop. This showcase features some of the rarest and most desirable cars around — including Yenkos, COPOs, and other muscle car legends — along with the specialists who restored them, offering a unique opportunity to hear directly from the craftsmen behind these spectacular vehicles.
As if all that weren’t enough, there’s an ’80s and ’90s-themed party Friday as RADlisle comes to Carlisle. This party includes ’80s and ’90s music, cars, and even a movie. Open to all ’80s and ’90s cars and enthusiasts, the party starts at 6 PM and goes into the night. Car clubs will be there, there’ll be a DJ, and Days of Thunder lights up the grounds as the sun sets on the day.
With expansive automotive flea markets, track activities, seminars, and special guests rounding out the weekend, Carlisle continues to prove why this is one of the most diverse and dynamic GM gatherings in the country.
Gates open at 7 AM daily, with National Parts Depot Showfield registration available online through Monday, June 16, and then in person starting Thursday, June 19. In addition, discounted spectator admission tickets are available online, with student and military discounts available in person (with valid ID). On-grounds parking is also available for just $10.
