this sucks
Alright so i am trying to save money for modding my car and today we have a meeting at work to be told that we will have a shut down from 11/19-12/1 . now i have a week and a half off where i have to collect unemployment and am at home trying not to spend money all day. anyone have any ideas of what to do that involves no money? Besides sleep all day, which i have thought about. Also does anyone know of any under the table jobs for that time span?

Johnston right next to prov. not far from Attleboro It's a frame off job right now the chasse is on a rotisserie. I have a lq9 motor to go in it no tranny yet. I have decided to start working on that again because I am not interested in putting in a roll cage in my 01 TA with T-Tops. So I have one floor pan to weld in or I could remove the old 350 and fab in the lQ9. So what do you like to do body work or motor work?

Sure you don't wana come over and help me scrape off some of the rust from the underside of the chassie . Or clean off the thirty some-odd years of road grime from the front frame?

ninja I'm just kidding there is all kinds of stuff to be done at all kinds of different skill levels. Sure I have to wire brush some loose rust from the undercarrage and powerwash the frame rails but for a begginner it's kind of easy to remove the motor from the rails and stuff. think, about it. I wouldn't make you wire brush the chassis. But moving the frame raills into position to take the motor out with the hoist is going to take two people. I would like to get the motor into place see how it sits before I send it out for macining.
I'm going to go with the SLP rotating assembly and instead of 427ci I'm going to get the 402ci. And because of somepeople complaing about the intercooler wiht the magnacharger I have decided to go wiht a procharger and a external intercooler. But that stuff is a few months away.
wish I had a t56 to see how that lays in the frame. Anyone have a wasted t56 I could use? PureEvil you probably have busted a few got one laying around?
