Default Need Interior suggestions!!

Usually im pretty good with ideas with my car but i need everyones help on this one. Its not an LS1 but it really doesnt make a difference. I am havign a custom interior done on my car and i can't make a choice on insert color.

The color of the car is steel blue pearlcoat

PICS: http://community.webshots.com/album/108951325qgpmFq

I am goin to ber using a set of 95 Bucket seats with a stitched in insert of a different color like these seats:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/...57871080PAzvbJ

My question is what color combination should i go with. The whole interior is being done so anything goes!!!

I was thinking of a black leatehr seat with a suede insert? My question is what color insert should i go with?

http://www.arizenracingsports.com/SuedeColors.htm

Those are the colors i have to choose from. I pretty much narrowed the choice down to Steel Blue or Granite. Both colors are actually a little lighter in person than in the pictures online.

I'm a little worried the steel blue will look like im trying to match the outisde of the car and it will look a little purply, almost like a mistake. Thats why i have never really done any other shades of blue on my car rather than the color. The engine is blue but it is actually the factory paint code for my car.

Or i can do the granite color which im sure will look good. being the car is steel blue it has a grey tint and some ppl swear to me the car is grey anyway.

So given the choices what is everyone opinion?

First off let me say...sweeet car! (I used to have a black 85, man I loved that car!) As for the inserts, personally I'd go with either Indigo Blue or Hot Rod Blue. I kinda like how the Hot Rod Blue seems to go with the pinstripes, but I'm also a fan of the darkness of the Indigo. I don't see anything wrong with throwing in some touches that match the exterior. Just my humble opinion of course.

yeah im just trying to make it so i dont limit myself. The car will prob be repainted in a year or two. Most likelly the same color but the pinstriping and decals will go most likely for something a little different. I have no idea what color though. The only other car i have ever considered painting my car is a Gun Metal Metallic pearl

Pretty much take 2 shades off of whatever you see in that online color chart. I have the color chart with the actauly fabric pieces in front of me and hot rod blue doesnt even closely match what is there. In reality is a light blue.

Ahh, yea, light blue doesn't sound as appealing. Well, if you plan on painting it, I'd probably go with the Graphite then...that way you could do whatever you want to the exterior and you know it'll match.

Whatever you choose, can't wait to see those pics!

My thoughts exactly which is why i decided on the granite. As far as interior wise on my kind of car i have never seen anything as custom as what i am planning to do which is also makin it hard ebcause im not 100% sure what the final finish product is goin to look like. It will definately be 1 of a kind
