Default Home/Auto Insurance ?'s

I live in RI and currently have AllState for Home/Auto. I know they are very good but I don't want to pay their rates. My wife and I have perfect driving records.

Doing the online quotes from others such as Gieco and Progressive, show that I'll save a good sum of money.

What do you all use? And how do you like their service?

Been with Geico for almost two years now - GREAT service, excellent rates, easy to deal with on the phone.

Last year I had my first claim through them (I got rear ended). No problems at all getting a rental car, they sent an adjuster up to inspect the damage within a couple days, I had a check in the mail 2 days after that. My car was off the road for just about a week total.

Recently, I took my 89 Formula from Vermont to S. Carolina on a car trailer (having the body restored, and the new engine & drivetrain installed by someone who specializes in 3rd gen f-body LSx upgrades). Anyhow, I got to New York and realized that I had forgotten to call ahead and put insurance on the car, just in case something happened. Called them up on the cell phone, and the activated coverage INSTANTLY - no waiting till midnight or any of that crap. Made the trip without incident, but still made me feel a lot better knowing I was covered just in case some moron ran into me along the way.

I say go with Geico - you won't be sorry.
