Hey Gang, I don't know how many already know but I'm going in for surgery tomorrow... I won't be on the boards much for the next week or so (mainly because I don't know how well I'll be able to see them, haha)

I'll mainly be sitting in a dark room, hanging out with my surrogate family for the next 4 or so days. I'm kinda nervous because if there are complications it could mean a serious job change (my job is very sight-dependent.)

Anyways, I'll check ya'll out when I can.

Just checking in... can't stay long cause this screen is driving me nuts! I can see much better than I've ever been able to, just the pain is there and everything's fuzzy around the edges. It gives me a headache to try and concentrate on the computer screen because things like the m's and the n's look the same because of the fuzziness. Thanks for all the well-wishing!

Hey Brad, I'll give you a call later, but I don't know if I'll be able to drive up there this weekend... Might be too much strain on the eyes. I'll give it another day or so just to be sure, though.

Hey gang! I'm back for the most part. I still have a lot of blurriness (from the skin regrowing over my eyes, the doc says), but I've got my computer rigged up to display high-contrast colors and everything's in size 48-double-kindergarten font so now I can at least participate a little bit, haha

Sorry I didn't call, Brad. I got obliterated (easy to do on the percocet, haha) for St. Patty's Day and slept most of the next two days
