Yeah I know about the scene out there....I was out last year and am going again in June.....I posted in one of the threads on Scandalous inviting anyone that wants to roll, to go with me in June. I have a few races lined up for myself, hoping I have my mods done by then but will run regardless. Nothing as fast as them boys obviously but some of the people I know have been into the 9's.

I agree but good luck marco. I've seen pauly's formula lose once on the street to a GN but his wife was driving it and this was about 4 years ago.

If I decide to do the mods I want too, I think it will be a great race. And no matter what you tell me, he cant hook like he can at the track. Dont forget I run an auto too and I can get up and go too. I just need to decide if I want to spend $5000 just to win a street race

$5,000 just to win a street race is a little excessive but whatever floats your boat. My money says he won't even race you. He's knows for doing good stuff like that also.

$1000 for nitrous
$1000 cam package installed
Drag wheels $800
I wanna swap to 241 heads so thats like $600 installed
$2200 for tranny rebuild and rear end installed
$550 for converter
$450 for a tune

so actually like $6600 by the time I am done and happy

I got the converter, the tranny and rear end are getting done, and the tune and drag wheels will come the same time. So i'm at $2600 to still spend to even have enough to call him out. maybe I'll run him motor to motor

marco i've got some 241's that just came off my car..they need a drill/tap of a couple exhaust manifold bolt holes but otherwise perfect. if you wanted them i'd hook them up cheap. But ya you've still got some more to spend to run with pauly on the juice. He's tough to get a race with cause he does think he is above most.

it might not be that serious to you, but it is to others. Street racing is my hobby, some people like to collect baseball cards, I like to street race.I really dont care if I do lose the race cause come fall the car is gonna be for sale and i'm gonna look to get married and buy a house. My goal is to run a 10 with the car, race the goat and retire from the scene til I got my priorities straightened out.
