Take your blinders off and broaden your horizons a bit.. it's healthy.. even if it is to know what the competition is up to.

dual holley four barrel carbs on top of a high rise intake manifold.
Now there is some ground breaking performance!
wtf?
I had that set up on my 2nd 1965 Mustang in 1976.
Have we not advanced from the cave?
Wait - maybe that will work with a performance points distributor too!!

I have even been pricing out the '05s, but couldn't pull myself to buy a FRIGGIN MUSTANG! But if I had to, I would get the base GT in that funky green with the spoiler delete and the $465 interior option ($26K total) - That would leave 8K for mods to get to the price of my SS new...

Don't listen to me... I must be bored and crazy...

OK, I'll pretend you didnt just say you thought about trading in your SS for a new Stang. I'm getting it bad enough that I want a GTO.

I'm really getting tired of the Camaro ride/interior/reputation (where's my mullet?) I wanted a GTO from day 1, I'm just thinking about when I get out of school and after the SS hits the 10's on the bottle Gonna trade both cars, move somewhere warm and have one HELL of a daily driver

Could be a Ford, Pontiac, Chevy or Dodge at this point...

Base '05 GT - $25.5
Base '05 GTO - $34ish
Base '05 C6 - $43.5
Ram SRT10 - Nahhhhhh.....

I'm bored man, what can I say? enough off topic stuff, just showing my reasoning - the only thing I have to say for the new Mustangs is PRICE!

I have seen that vette at a couple of car shows, his brother has a 3rd gen with the same type of big block set up all gold platted. There is so much gold on those two , a bit over done if you ask me. Even under the car . They still win shows though. Heard one guy say he wittnessed the guy with the vette flip out at a show cause he came in 2nd.
