My car is still for sale. I have no real offers for it. I am in theory getting back with my wife in a week or so. When that happens, I get my truck back, extra money, and my life back. From there I need to bring the car to ES and have the fenders done and the wheel wells opened for the 28's. If all goes well with us I WILL BE racing in the fall. Believe it or not I have 300 or so miles on the car since I got it back in Nov. I have a new Gixxer( I know JS, I know) and that is taking up all my free time. I have TTII's going on as well in a week or so. I will enjoy the car this spring summer and hopefully race/sell it in the fall. I wanna C5 but I will have to see. My wife liked the 05' Goat. I am not adverse to that idea either. I will see once I sell the car. Thanks for the concern. Enjoy your Euro Slayer. Shoulda held out for the 05 ya homo!!

I know. I'm not counting on winning....I need a convertor and a stick tire, then I'll be pretty tough to beat on the street from a dig by 'normal' cars....

I just found this post looking for something else. I have run the car, the best of 11.16 @ 125mph, but that was last year. That was hitting the limiter on the 1-2 and a very poor 3-4 shift, which I have been having problems with for some reason. I then broke my 12 bolt, which was replaced with a spool. I have only run the car once so far this year, but that produced no new bests because of horrible track prep (as in couldnt do better than 1.7x 60' times I was spinning bad), and now im having some issues again that Mikey is helping me out on, so who knows with my luck when it will be back at the track.
Bear -- since I dont come over here all that often, how is life treating you now? Status of the car? Life?
JS -- you got a new "racecar" yet? Or are you having some withdrawals now?

Been 10's with 2 F-cars now...Its getting boring,been looking at a Blown Fox body that my boss and I might buy together..He's been helping the guy with the Stang,finishing up all the little BS...Its a nice car,easy 8.20@170+ car but I wanna buy another house soon so I dont know if I'm gonna get involved with another race car..
Got my GTO and that should run easy 12.70's which for my daily driver thats good enough for me,it even has working A/C
