Funny I just had to lecture my brother about this, no matter how good and confident you are about your work or anything you take pride in, Don't joke to the customer or anyone that you don't know what you're doing or made a mistake or there is trouble because they will NEVER EVER take it as a joke and you 'effect' is they think less of your abilities, not think you're clever.

that's a very true statement...I work in this type of situation everyday and if i'm not sure of something i'm doing you don't wanna let the customer see that. It just doesn't make them feel comfortable.
It was a long day for me as i didn't get any sleep the night before becaouse I was sick from something I ate and no food that day, one slice of pizza, so a little levity was in order i wasn't trying to be a professional just another guy.
One reason why I don't want ot make a profit fixing strangers cars is because it's too confusing come tax time, that right i don't cheat. the 200 was going to be for the wideband 02 that would have been used on his car.
SO that's is my last words here if people want to continue bashing me I will look into to suing for defamation and libel.
