How about a set of long tubes with a pair of cutouts for those special ocassions

? Run it like this...Header collector---3in electric QTP on both sides---HFC---reducer or custom pipe to each muffler. Just an idea but you get the best of both worlds and you dont have to hear when you dont want to.

Ken does have a good point. Alot of us get carried away with mods and then later wonder why we did that. I'm the first to say that I'm guilty at times.

Me too Tom,We both have been guilty of that..
Half these guys dont remember the LT1 days back in 96/97 in Atlanta

I'm pretty sure I'll run headers but I;m still waiting for a ceramic coated steel LT for under 750 complete

with all the parts you have access to when you get finished/bored it seems you go get another sweet car/truck to mod

I just got my new heads back from the machine shop, cam(s) ordered, exhaust from headers to tailpipe (Bassani/Steeda), intake elbow, CAI, Throttle Body, Springs, Shocks, SFC's, Nitto's, Tach w/ Shiftlight, Guages, and my new SCT Pro Racer Tuning Software with Flasher, Auburn Pro 3.90's with Superior 31 Spline Axles, New Short Throw Shifter, and (of course) XMSR.
