Default First Mods!

First mod is B&M Ripper installed today along with an Amsoil transmission fluid swap. Second, third, fourth mods are 3.91s, Harrop rear cover, Crossmember bushings with Amsoil differential fluid (awaiting arrival from DiffTechnics in Austrailia). Can't wait to start heat cycles with the new gears . . .

Thanks John, I do appreciate it!! But since I can drop a T56 and re-install it independently in the snow, I figured I could manage draining the fluid, fill'er back up and install a shifter!! Thanks again. I will let you know when the Crossmember bushings and other parts come in!!

The shifter is nice and notchy compared to the stocker. The shifts are nice and tight, no side to side play while in gear. The throw is much shorter than stock, as it's supposed to be. The shifter sits more in front of 1st gear rather than in the center towards 3rd gear (I didn't use the extra centering springs, but may in the future to see the afftect). Over-all decent fit and finish!

Transmission seems smoother with the Amsoil in it!

The gears and such should be here on the 31st or so, hopefully get them installed shortly following if the price is right, otherwise waiting until late next month!!

Pretty much on a course to extinguish wheel hop and of course go faster!!
