no offense purevil, but i'd stay away from the LG unit if you want to drag race.
this was mine:


the plates that attach to the rear are way to thin (1/8 "), where as other units like spohn and BMR are three times as thick. i love my spohn TA that mounts in the stock location.

I bet the bolt is loose (even if it didn't fall out yet). The friction from the bolt clamping the parts together is what is designed to hold the load from the torque arm/axle interface. Once you loose that "load" (the bolt backs out), it's easy to rip holes in the rather thin metal that the torque arm is made from.

Just my hunch.

i run a stock tq arm with 700hp...so some are lucky and some are not i guess

absolutely do you have auto tranny? they pull awesome short times, but are less abusive to the drivetrain versus manual tranny.

just ordered my bmr torque arm and panhard rod (i figured why not order that too while im here)...
now hopefully ill be ready to make some good track runs

get a linelock! cheap and allows you to do halacious burnouts the boys will be jealous of. Just hide the switch!

haha i have that too...
for some reason my wheels arent locking up fully though, i have to fix it. i was using the linelock when this happened

That sucks. I can totally relate to your car woes. My cars nickname is "The Pig". Its a girl, and when shes nice I call her Miss Piggy. My car has 35k miles on it, and if the trans comes out, this will be the 5th time!
