A monster in the making (pictures)
it will also be about 3700 pounds. lol
other then that it is a very similar setup. 200 rpm lower stall then mine. he has 4:11's with a 27" tire, a little less suspention then i have, a tinny bit smaller cam then mine, full exhaust, heat lol
im guessing the car on motor should make 400+ threw the 400 and on spray i bet it makes 550 with the 100-125 tune up in it, and runs mid 10's on a good track. we will see soon tho, seats are on there way, and the shifter/dipstick will be here soon, then he is a driveshaft and a tune away.
My plan at this point is to gut the radio and all the wire, speakers, etc, get a plate in there to mount the switches, pressure guage and whatnot for a kit, think I'm gonna go dry, as I do plan on down the road going alot bigger on motor, so I don't think that I'll need more then 150 of spray to get to what I wanna run.. put in a fuel pressure guage, probably buy a LM-1 windeband setup, put the guage in the a pillar next to fuel pressure guage, get a set of 42 lb injectors, and a racetronix fuel setup... should be enough for what I think I'll end up doing ( most likly a 408 motor ). I wanna also gut the catback off and the y pipe, get a set of XR1 mufflers or something and a set of turndowns to put on, that will get the spacers outta the mount for my tq arm so that will stop bottoming out on stuf.. that's annoying. LM1 bungs will go in the short piece of pipe that connects the xr1 to the header, so I can still run the o2's in the headers for the tune, should work out good, gut some weight off the car, sound good, and give me a good place to put the lm1 sensors
I'm hoping for mid to low 11 on motor, and mid 10 on spray when it's all said and done, I think that a 5177 kit will be good enough to do that, and it's not so much that the stock bottom end won't be able to take it until the motor gets done, and once the motor is done, if it's running mid to low 11's on motor alone, then 150 should get it into the 10's I'd think with no problems.
Auto tranny is going in next spring too, I was gonna try to stay with the 6 speed, but as most of the racing I'll ever do is bracket, it's probably more then worth while. Plus, now that I have access to a trailer, there's no worrying about driving 100 miles to LVD anymore.
I am thinking that on a 125 next spring, with the 4.10's and a 27 inch hoosier tire (ones you ran before) and the th400, it will probably be low 11's with that alone.
I do have to check the shift light in my car tho, I think that it's still coming on at the 5800 that it was set for before the cam went in, according to the gear calc, the car with 26 inch tires and trapping at 113, is going thru the traps at about 5900, and the light is on. If that's the case, I gotta get that changed.. I've been shifting about 500 rpm too soon.......

PRobably a 12.2 in it as it sits, maybe better if tht's the case.
Gotta put tires on the truck, and get a hitch and brake controller first tho, buddy bought an open car trailer, I can use whenever he's not, so I gotta get the hitch and whatnot on the dodge before I go doing anythign else to the car. Got a good 11 second plan though.. and my car will still be a fat pig too.... once the tranny and the other **** I have planned for next year are done, and I see where the timeslips are at, will decide whther the lw suspension stuff goes in or the motor gets done. I'll probably pull the a/c, carpet backing, and when the 8 pt goes in, the rear seat will probably come out, as it's not safe to even sit there IMO once it's in.. so that will take out some. Heat shields, panhard support all tat kinda crap will be out this fall if I get to go back again. so I'll see what the car weigh's like that, go from there.

we are tring to get B-Man to do the same. lol The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

Anyone need a monkey wrench on evenings/weekends?
I need another job just to pay for all the stuff in my car. I love speed
, but it is damn expensive.
Sounds like you have a nice set-up, your car should defanetly kick some but
and there's a good 40 lbs at least, without removing the radio, or any other power goodie that I have to pull out. Got access to a trailer now, so I need to get the hitch and a brake controller for my truck so I can take the car and not worry about something going boom, and I need s set of tires for the trucka nd car, so once that stuff gets done, I'll get the car loaded up and back to te track again, should be able to get that dead weight out by then, and the shift light set right by then.. see what it does. I'm hoping to see 11.99 before I go digging into it anymore, but I think it's gonna need the shocks to get there. That setup you've got going in your car is gonna be mean... I'm very intrested to see how it perofrms, as my car's never gonna be a real lightweight, probably weigh's about what your car does. The tranny is probably my next item to change myself, I'm sure going from the stickl to a drag setup auto will deifnately help. I was leary about doing it, but again, now that I have access to a trailer, no need to worry about driving the car 100+ miles to go to the track.. just tow it now. Car never gets driven far anyway, just to a couple cruise nights and a couple hang out spots anyway, never sees more then about 80 miles in a single day... guess the overdrive can go bye bye now.
