What to do today (the 4th)?

What to do today (the 4th)? Just wondering if anyone knows of any type of festivities going on in Mass for the 4th? My buddy was supposed to be throwing this big BBQ bash at his place but now that fell through, so I might be stuck with not muchto do today which sucks. I was thinking of heading into Boston but that might be insane with the crowds there. Does anybody know of anything going down at any beaches, parks or whatnot? I want to go out, it would suck to stay at home. Any suggestions?

I just got out of work. I had to go in for a 1/2 day. 
Now I need to get enough ambition to install my panhard rod. Still waiting for the SLP line lock from New era Performance or I would do that today. I think there is a car show at Ocean Beach in New London CT tonight starting at 5pm I think. I may go there w/some friends. Who knows?
