Collecting from a deadbeat contractor?
Today's update is he was there at exactly 8:00am like he said he would be. I was there for a few hours and then took off for the rest of the day. I was surprized at how much work he got done! He even called to provide me with an update as he was leaving and will be back to put in another full down tomorrow (Sunday). So far so good!
Hopefully it won't come down to me needing a lawyer now.
I'm also keeping track of how much time it takes for him to finish. Another electrican gave me a quote to finish the job. That was $9800. Pretty high for 3-4 days of work for one guy. I don't see two guys getting that for half the time.
