went up sat was nice wish i went up friday night, i guess ther was a pretty bad wreck. a corvette hit the wall and flipped. from what i heard there was a leak in the tranny line and it got on his tires. that is wahta i heard though, they did have pics of it and it looked pretty bad thank god for roll cages

Hey Andrew, the Et streets are great. Got a 1.76 and I can do better. I was in the staging lanes when the crash happened. I saw the ambulance on the track. What happened to the guy anyone know? Thank God it didnt happen further down the track.

I got 3 new bests.
i went 9.63
i went 141.8
and i got a 1.30 60'
so all in all it was good.
my 9.63 was my 1.30 60, it was today first pass, but i red lite so i didnt move on.
yesterday i left in 2nd my first pass and went 9.9 @ 140
2nd pass i couldnt hook and went 9.7 @ 141.8 3rd pass i left a stupid cap off my fuel psi regulator and leaked fuel all over and they towed me out, ran to my traler, grabed a cap threw it on and it was all set, but they wouldnt let me run. I wasnt happy, but oh well.
today was good. new best with a pretty sick wheel stand!!!
also the kid that bought tracers car went 12.4 @ 117 on the nittos, and he couldnt launch for ****!!!! 2.3 60'! lol
good time tho, and some sick cars!!

yhea, that was with Nittos, and he cant drive!!!! LOL
we did a little tweeking to the car befor he went, it was running verry rich, and what not, so we fixed that, and she realy woke up. gaind about 20 rwhp. with tires and a good driver the car should realy move.
then i think the extra weight and the sway bar should come out and see what she can do.

Just got back from SC.
My first time ever racing my camaro (first time ever racing a car at that!) My first run ever was a 15.86 @ 101 with almost a 3 second 60 LOL was smoking half way down the track
I was there friday sat and sunday cuz my father races Top sportsman, Red and black 57 chevy if any of you saw, he ran a 6.83 @ 203.
Anyways, after a few runs I got it down to 14.1 ish and I started talking to a guy who had a 2000 trans am and gave me a few pointers on how to luanch with street tires on. By my last 2 runs sat and through sunday I was in the high 13's. Boy do I have some work on my 60' times :/
My best run of the weekend was: 2.28(ish) 60' 13.82 1/4 @ 104
this was with a completly stock down to the same tires 2002 camaro M6
So, how'd I do on my first weekend out? Any tips?!

What happened was he got on the converter 5 seconds befor his lights even started, somthing broke, tranny fluid everywhere and just cought it in one of his tires and hit the wall.
He was all right and there was no real bad frame damage
Zoxygen, those look just like my first times last year at the Camaro Firebird challange.
The only thing my car had at that time was a K&N, with stock rubber. I went once a month untill Oct. then went every weekend. But, by then it was moded with, cat back, underdrive pully, lid, this that all little stuff. And I knocked off a few sec.
But you can get a pritty good time with your car with more time at the track.
