Mad Cow Russia's long winter will fly by for a herd of cows that are to be fed confiscated marijuana to get them through the cold months.
Government workers came up with the stoner diet when they were forced to destroy sunflower and maize crops that had been used to camouflage some 40 tons of marijuana in the Urals region of Sverdlovsk.
"If we remove it all, the cows will have nothing to eat," said one drug-enforcement official, adding, "I don't know what the milk will be like after this."
