New York emissions What are my chances of passing inspection with headers and catted y pipe?
I live on Long Island and I don't "know" someone. How tough would it be to pass inspection? I was planning on getting a set of QTP's or Kooks with a catted y-pipe but I want to make sure I can pass inspection before I lay out the money to buy it.

just ask around and see if anyone it willing to overlook the relocation of the cats. You could always do a pre test as well, and just go from there. Or I dont know, slip them some money. If all else fails you can always swap the headers out for the stock manifolds.
