Alright I'm completely new about the dyno, what's it mean 4 pulls? You just run the car through the gears and RPM's 4 times to get a better average? I'm guessing there's no tuning done to the PCM during these things unless I pay extra? I definately want to go, I've always wanted a baseline but didn't have the money for it, and most times they want 75 bucks not 50. And now that I have some exhaust mods done I need to get a dyno before I put too much on it. Besides, I get paid on the 15th

You won't be on 12's this ORI thing doesn't start until the 20th doesn't it? I'll have to double check, I heard originally 20-25, but it doesn't make sense, Fri-Tue? Hmmm

The car's drive wheels are driven onto the rollers. We strap the car down and chock the non drive wheels. We then hook up the sensors. Once the car is setup, it's driven on the dyno to get it into 4th. gear for a manual or 3rd. for an automatic (the converter need to be locked up). This is when we punch the throttle to redline . This is done 4 times. Each time it's done, a graph is made of HP and TQ to the wheels.

BTW, no tuning is done.

I don't think I forgot anything

We actually spent the money for the a/f module. So we have the wand style. We can also disconnect it and use the o2 sensor only in a bung. Your choice.

alright cool, hopefully I can make it! It's an hour and a half away but it will be worth 50 bucks to finally get my baby rated. Plus the free food....what kind of food by the way? Dogs and burgers? probably just a sackfull of old candy you took from the kids at the Thanksgiving parade last year? hehe

It starts in the 20s, but since I have to help prep all the cargo for my squadron(605 AMXS) they usually put us on 12s early to prep.

Is this filled up yet? I might want to drop the GTO on there as well as Matt's TA. I want to see if there is a big difference with the rear you're installing on it.
