Default LT1 Shops in Tri-State Area

Are there still any good shops that are willing to work and have the capabilities to tune an LT1? Most places that I've talked to only do LSx engines. Even East Coast Supercharging, they guys who built my motor last year, aren't accepting new LT1 projects anymore. They even sold their LT1 edit software so they are in capable of retuning my PCM!

CarTek in Garwood will not do LT1 and can not tune them the last time I talked to them. I called TTP last Saturday and got the same response. I tried CarTek before i contacted ECS.

btw: what is the deal with not doing stuff on LT1s? They are still good motors though a bit old. Is the market that bad for them that the shops that used to work on them don't even bother accepting new Lt1 projects anymore? Or even keep the tuning software around?

Also I think Stage1 might be willing to do LT1 work, but they do not have the capabilities to tune the car once finished.

TTP wont touch LT1 cars.

My Bad. My car is probably the last LT1 car that will ever grace TTP for work.

Edit... Depending on what year LT1 car if your looking for tuning, I can set you up with someone I know who has an excellent rep on the local NJ F-Body board for his tuning. PM me if your interested.

We do work on LT1 cars. Our speciality, and priority, are the LSx cars. We do have access to LT1Edit or can refer you to a friend's shop for tuning.

It's not that the LT1's are a bad motor, they are just labor intensive. A lot of people don't want to drop the change into the LT1 that some of these cars need.

What do you need done Violator?
