Western Mass is quite nice...You're close to LVD, at least, and up around Great Barrington, Lee, Lenox, and Pittsfield there's some serious $$. Certain parts of Springfield are pretty rough, but for the most part it's good. WJ

I used to go to school in springfoeld, has it's good parts and it's bad. Good car scene here in CT, and you're about 35 to 45 min from teh berlin turnpike there.. so it's not too bad.

Once you are all settled.. p.m. me.. have to hangm somewhere.. gather up all the usual suspects.

springfield is a toilet in some areas but the western MA area in general is really nice. Good luck with the move and welcome you're officially a masshole.

most of the members on http://massdriven.com/ are from western mass. mostly imports and mustangs.

Ahhh, Springfield, Massachusettes' Harlem. Just kidding man, Springfield, like any other city, has its good parts and bad. Im from Southampton (15 mins away), and there really isn't much of a car scene around here. People show respect to nice cars, but at any get-together it seems to be Honda boys with more money then common sense. Welcome to the Bay State!

I'm 10 minutes outside of springfield. Like these guys said not much of a car scene. But the Berlin Turnpike is close enough and where most of the action takes place. I've heard rumors that memorial drive in chicopee sometimes has some action but I have never been up there to verify.

all I can say is that everyone needs to gather up and go to the pike on teh same night... sounds like I need to have a cookout some saturday next year. I'm 10 min from the pike.
