Default lightning = fun track day

yesterday I went to lebanon for the track rental.I was planning on bringing the camaro until I had some last minute complications.Everything is resolved now, thanks to ken and rich.we're going to try it out at englishtown on sunday(no time nationals). So I fill the lightnings gas tank and start heading north.Get to the track about 10am,let the truck cool down a bit from the 150 mile drive. The track didn't seem that good but I went out there to give it hell.I did one of the biggest burnouts the truck has ever seen(took forever to get good smoke for the pics).I jump on the brake build some boost and let it rip.It felt pretty good and didn't spin and ended up with a 12.97 @ 105.24.I was happy with that considering the truck never went into the twelves(with the stock f1 tires). So I let the truck cool off again for a couple of hours and went for it again. This time I did a bigger burnout(7000 miles and its time to buy new tires, they're bald).I hold it up on the brake making about 6lbs off the line and we're off. This time it didn't feel as good, but when I picked up the slip I had gone 12.89@104.05 better 60'(1.84 ).I was excited about this and decided to call it a day, before I blow the tires.
I would just like to say I had a blast racing my truck and watching the other cars .It was not like when I go race my car.Thats more like work but I love it just as much.
thanks to Ken and Rich for working on the car all day while I was having fun at the track.
