curious what the TR 224/224 114 lsa would pull on the dyno with regular manifolds. I'm guessing ~350hp/360tq. Cars nearly paid for (August '06 
) and I'm ready for something to waken my blood 
I'm not ready for headers yet (still need to find out if I'll pass visual inspection despite the plug-in only test) and am in no rush

You can prob get close to a 224 cam with headers and a cat'd y-pipe and get a sticker. Keep your cat back and get a cut-out. The cat's and catback will hurt you but you'll have your peace of mind.
Your thinking too much about it, if you want to drive into a shop and get a sticker without question Don knows the limit on what he can do, it's common sense. If you wanna be risky and take a chance and could have someone help you out just "in-case" Don knows what he can do. If stickers ever become a hassle, you can always ask around and toss someone a couple of bucks then you can run a 224 cam, no cats and keep your catback.
Just show up one day with the money and tell Don what you wanna do.
