Phantom of the Opera?

Phantom of the Opera? Anyone ever been to the Majestic on Broadway to see it? Or Philly, when it was here last in 02. Thinking about taking the girl up to Broadway sometime. Was it a good show? Any recommendations for restaraunts in the immediate area of Majestic?
phantom is a great show. try to get tickets in the first row or two of the balcony for the best view. obviously the closer to the center of the stage you are the better.
the majestic is a nice theater, seats are actually fairly comfortable.
i avoid the traveling versions that come to philly. they are not the same cast, props, scenary as in new york. they are still nice shows, just not nearly as good as going to broadway.

Go w/ a good center orchestra seat. Excellent show, also loved les miserables, but I think thats off BW now?

I saw the 2004 movie version on HBO the other night, and I really liked it. If the play is anything like that or better, it's definitely worth the money. I want to see the Producers too, but looks like the only chance of that is at the movies since tickets are sold out for like 2 years.
