I amy currently trying to ride a Polaris trail touring 550 and it starts okay, but how do i get it into gear or move? It runs fine @ idle, but it won't go forward or backwards. Is there a gear switch or something i'm missing? My other one(ski-doo) has a lever, but this one doen't appear to have it. Thanks in advance.

And yes, I am borrowing this and don't own it!!!

yeah nevermind. i figured it out, the sled was just stick to the ice/ground and needed to be dislodged. gggrrrrrrr!

Chech the belt now... alot of belts have been burnt up by gassing it when it's stuck in the ice

Don't worry I didn't gun it out of the ice guys. I wiggled it around and picked it up. It felt okay, so I hope it's fine.

We need to check out the ski doo to see if it's usable. It was smoking like a bitch when we started it. Not sure if it's 100% or not. The polaris was awesome, just needs a partner to rip up the lake with!!
