I would go with the STI over the Evo. I'm addicted to the Boxter sound. You just have to look and listen after one goes by. AWD is a grat thing evo or sti! Or you can drive a beater like i do. The Great Ford Escort!

not as quick as the STI, how about a WRX? that should fall within your price range...

I'd say get a cheap 4cyl for $15k and use the $10k on the TA.

I agree, a non supercharged Cobalt SS can be had for under $16k I bet...the rest goes towards making the WS6 QUICKER/FASTER.

I vote for a Silverado 2500 Duramax with the crew cab!!! Nice big DD with endless possibilities of mods and you can tow the TA with it!!

Add some guages, more boost, 35inch tires and a 4 inch suspension lift and you have one damn nice DD/tow rig!!

I just bought a 06 wrx. to replace my wife's car, and she is now driving my truck. The new wrx's have the 2.5 motor, and it's plenty fast for a daily, and the price wasn't bad. Gas mileage isn't super, but not terrible either, first tank was about 23.5 mpg.... sticker said 20 to 26, so it's about normal I guess. I was reading a catless up pipe, and a downpipe with one high flow cat ( instead of the stock setup, with 3 cas, one before the turbo LOL ) will pick it up another 20 hp, and get the mileage up another 1 to 2 mpg as well.

All depends what you need though.. a car to get around, somethign to tow the other car, price range, etc. etc.

The dealer where I picked this up has several used ones as well, they had a 2002 I think for like 13 grand, I don't remember what the milage was or anythign , but walking by it it didn't look bad.

A non turbo impreza, is about 17K new if I remember correctly, and that's a pretty loaded one.
