Shifter
Shifter Ok looking online and i see a few different choices for aftermarket shifters was wondering which one would be better. or which the majority likes, I have the stock hurst with the short stick. It feels ok.

I have the 5.0 with lou's short stick. The shifter feels really good but IMO not good enough to justify the extra $200. My brother has the stock hurst with lou's short stick and it feels comparable to the 5.0. If you do get the 5.0, I wouldn't recommend getting the short stick with it if you replaced the shift **** with something like one of these *****
because it's actually too low and can touch the console in second gear. I like the way my SS ball looks but I always put the stock hurst **** back on when I head to the track.

I had the stock hurst. Hated that.
Put in the Pro 5.0 with my MBA **** and it's awesome. I ordered a stick from UMI, and haven't put it in yet. It doesn't look to be as short as the LSS, so that is a plus in my mind.
The lous short stick is short, and combined with my MBA **** I know I won't like it. I've never missed a shift with the Pro 5.0. I just bought a shorter stick to see if I liked it better. My buddy has the Ripper in his Cobra. I don't like it.
I bought my Pro 5.0 for like $160 through Tbyrne during a GP. Ask him to set one up in the GP section, there's always people down for this shifter. Then you'll be good to go I guarantee you.
