Added fuel lines and almost completed the intake tract. Gonna connect the hoses with a 4" aluminum pipe section:

and after all that....youve got duct tape holding the lid down.....classic

its just for mock up purposes. my OEM lid clamps are in sad shape ever since my nitrous hiccup several years ago haha

I bet that you could hav a bunch of mat'l removed off the top of that intake, and the intake elbow flange where they bolt together, that would probably make the clearance issues alot less. not gonna completely solve the problem, but alot of it. I bet that between the top of the intake, and the elbow, there'a about 3/4 of an inch that could be milled off.

I'm very intrested to see how this setup works out for you.. it, along with a bigger cam were the next 2 things that I was considering doing, and your results with it ona 346 motor could swing my decision.

I'd shave enough so that it would fit under the cowl and not hit the hood, that's all.


The GM intake, shaved a little and cut the elbow some, and you'd probably be able to clear everything. Hmmmmmm
