Default Hello, I'm a newbie!

I just wanted to say hello. I've been lurking for a while and not posting much since I feel a bit out of place over here. I guess I should, since I don't own an American car, just one with an American heart. I hope to see some of you guys at local events this summer.

Pete

Thanks guys. The previous owners took great care of it. The car will be done the weekend after I get the rest of my parts, so who knows!?! I bought the car in Feburary and ordered just about everything for the swap shortly after that and I'm still waiting. Saying that it has been frustraiting would be an understatement. I'm hoping it will be well worth it in the end. I still haven't driven a car with an LS1, but I've been told that its a great motor.

Actually looks as though there's more room for that motor in that engine compartment than in a 4th gen F-bod....especially back in the firewall area. Finish that bad-boy up. Central Mass is my stomping grounds. Where you at? WJ

I can't wait to drive it. I'm hoping I'll be able to fire it up next weekend or the weekend after. There isn't any room near the firewall. I actually have to do a little cutting or hammering before the intake manifold will fit. Anyone know where I can get a factory workshop manual (paper or PDF) for the F-body?

Welcome man, sick car! Definately a hot looking setup, I've wanted to drive one of those since Hinson Supercars starting throwing videos up here.

You can get the manual at the dealer ship. Should cost around 100 bucks. Maybe less, I need to go and grab one as well.
